In the last episode, the tides were turned which allowed the Miroku clan to rescue Miko’s parents. Prevalent members of the Mahoroba clan were defeated, and a flood of bodily fluids in Shikima neutralized any other threats.
This episode starts with a task for the Miroku clan to locate the Shikima Brain (mentioned in episode 2), so that control over the power it possesses won’t fall into the wrong hands.
There is some mellowness that explores a different side of Miko, along with problematic scenarios too. The team also meets some new faces along the way.
There are a few sex scenes, but a whole lot more Ecchi material present. The sex is on the weaker side compared to the first two episodes. They aren’t bad, but rather short and not as clever or important as the last two.
While this episode mostly removes itself from the fantasy realms, it still maintains a rich spectrum of color usages. It makes the sexy Ecchi parts that much better and sexier.
This episode is completely different than the previous two episodes. It allows the Miroku clan to develop their characters in a smooth manner. The pace is slower, but that’s an upside to the episode’s grounded charm.
